WHO WE ARE
Welcome to New Friends of Greater Columbus. We are a women's social organization created with a common goal of making new friendships through participation in social, cultural and educational activities. Whether you are new to the area or are a long-time resident, we'd like to invite you to experience the fun and friendships made within New Friends. Monthly luncheons and coffees are wonderful ways to meet us and explore all the activities and events offered through membership.

New Friends of Greater Columbus’ membership is 150 strong which consists of women who come from the following areas: Columbus, Delaware, Dublin, Galena, Galloway, Grove City, Hilliard, Lewis Center, Marysville, New Albany, Plain City, Powell, Reynoldsburg and Westerville.

FINDING YOUR PEOPLE
A social club is a community in which every member feels seen, that they belong and have a chance to both grow as well as to contribute meaningfully to the group. At any age, friendships enrich our lives in countless ways. By nurturing friendships, we can lead happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. Friends make even ordinary activities, like laughing over a cup of coffee, feel special and more joyful.

FRIENDSHIP AND FUN ACTIVITIES
Below is a listing of activities. After reviewing this list, we hope you will click on the membership application button, complete the form and start the process of becoming a member.
BOOK CLUBS: One daytime and one evening group.
BREAKFAST CLUB; DINING OUT; LUNCH BUNCH; HAPPY HOUR: Separate gatherings that meet at various restaurants.
BRIDGE: Two groups: one for beginners held twice a month and regular bridge also held twice a month.
COFFEES: Held every other month on the third Wednesday. They are engaging and fun and bring together
members, potential members, and new members to learn about the club.
DAY TRIPPERS: Members embark on a trip that can be completed in one day such as exhibits and places of interest.
EUCHRE: One daytime and one evening group.
FUN AND GAMES: Members play board games or other fun activities.
GENEALOGY: Members meet at local libraries with guest speakers and genealogy experts.
HAND, KNEE, AND FOOT: Members enjoy the game.
HEARTFUL FRIENDS: Members meet at My Very Own Blanket.
KITCHEN CAPERS: Members get together for cooking demonstrations and different cooking techniques.
LUNCHEONS: Held second Tuesday of each month. A speaker or entertainment is part of the event.
MAHJONGG: Members enjoy playing.
PICKLEBALL; GOLF; RAMBLERS,(hiking); CHICK FLICKS: Separate gatherings of members per the activity.
QUEEN’S NIGHT OUT: Members play board games and other fun activities.
QUILTERS ANONYMOUS: Members enjoy quilting, knitting, embroidery and handwork in a group setting.
RUMMIKUB: Members enjoy the game.
TALK, LISTEN, LAUGH: Members meet and discuss a variety of topics and thought provoking subjects.
WEEKEND ADVENTURES: Members attend different areas of interest such as plays and exhibits.
WRITERS WORKSHOP: Members connect by sharing their own written stories, essays, poems and other related creations.

MEMBERSHIP
The annual dues are $30 plus a one time enrollment fee of $35. The enrollment fee is pro-rated according to the month in which you join. This provides you with a newsletter that lists all of the great activities, along with other fun information . The newsletter and this website also keep you updated on the latest happenings.
